Day 6/7
Woops! I left my iPhone at home yesterday as I normally write this blog every morning on the train.
Today is a double whammy!!
I’ve kinda messed up with my days … Today is my day 7! But I wanted it to be a Friday as this is my day off ( I work in retail so weekend working is a must) so I have decided tonight I will do some more cardio! And I will make Fridays my Sunday’s (if you follow this program you will understand www.bodyforlife.com)
How do I feel? Hows the exercises?
Awesome… I’m loving drinking water all the time & loving my 20 minutes cardio! Things couldn’t be better! And I’ve done my seven days with relative ease, I did mess up on the upper body weights and destroyed my arms for 4 days but I think I have that sorted now !
I have now sampled a 7 day week and I can say I’m ready for the next 11 weeks (and much more beyond) I have found the cardio really refreshing and it keeps the treadmill interesting, last night I completed my 20 minutes much more easily ! Great
I now have a wall clock in my gym. buy one!
Stairs are your friend. peace!
My Tivoli audio sensation ..it may not look much but when you plug your iPhone into it … Oh boy! A great gym buddy!
Day 5
Hello! Wow one thing I can tell you right now about all this exercise is that I am thirsty ALL the time!! Even in my day to day job I’m just dying for a drink, (I’ve never been one for full fat coke but I do like Any diet Brand) I’m drinking about 2.25 litres a-day yep that’s 3 x 75cl Evian water bottles!
We all know water is good for us but in the past I just had to force myself to drink it, now I crave it? And I’ve not touched a fizzy drink or cider in 5 days!
My cardio session went so well last night even thou I was feeling soar from the lower weights workout, which I’m really enjoying! The boom box is a great idea as you sweat so much earphones just aren’t do’able!!
I guess today is the day I tell the world about this blog.. I could do with some comments!. Yep I’ve kept this amazing blog quite to everyone ha ha ha (evil laugh) no seriously I have, it’s no masterpiece but I know some people may be amused??!!
Day 4
Last night was ok! Managed to do most of the lower body routine. It made me sweat more than I thought it would ?
My arms are still soar and I’m still having difficulty taking my tee off when I get back home from work? I’m thinking I need to reduce the weight on those upper body exercises for tomorrow.
I’m still messing with my ‘gym’ environment, I’ve already found out that headphones just don’t work for me so I’m rigging up an old (but puchy) speaker with my iPhone.. audio Is KEY!
My iPhone Is also acting as a good timer but I need to get a wall clock with a third hand…
I’m feeling positive, soar but positive, my wife told me I snored for England last night ! Infact louder than I ever had before, YEP I’m tired!
Keep drinking the water!
Day 3
Where should I start? The part where I was woken up last night to the pain running down my right arm ? Or the most exhausting 20 minute run of my life that had my iPhone whizzing past me and hitting the floor?
On the positive side I’m still being good in the food part and feeling better about the whole thing… But omg am I soar from the waist up!
Tonight is lower body weights… Hmmm
Day 2
Last night was my first night of exercise (upper body). Today my elbows hurt like hell, I cant move my arms higher than my shoulders, it felt like an elephant has sat on my chest! Thank god it’s a cardio night tonight! I am sticking to the plan thou.. I even ignored a crispy donut yesterday ! Amazing !
